I call all of my clients warriors, why? They are in it to WIN the battle for a longer, healthier life.
Movement is my MISSION!
I am here to help people of all ages: kids to grandparents and everyone in between.
How much movement do I need?
Adults aged 18–64 should do at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity throughout the week or do at least 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic physical activity throughout the week or an equivalent combination of moderate - and vigorous-intensity activity. *see WHO link below.
How I Can Help You
Personal Training
Working one-on-one with clients allows me to cater a training program precisely to your history, needs and goals. The close interaction also permits me to teach correct exercise technique and progression. Schedules are busy, but not too busy to make movement a priority. I try my best to accommodate a time that works for us to meet. Frequency is different for every client, once a week, twice a week, three times a week, every other day, weekly, every other week, once a month.
I have a private home studio in Clarksburg with everything we need to get you moving and stronger.

Small Group Training
Book a 60 minute small group training class in my home studio. Up to 4 people per session. Packages and drop-ins available.
In-Home Training/ Local Park Training
We can make a space work in your home to train - I can bring my equipment or you can purchase your own. Investing in your own home equipment is a great option in this day and age.
Do you and a few friends want to get a workout in together? Let's get you all moving at someone's house or a local park. I can bring everything we need.
Workout Programming
Let me send you personalized workouts to help you achieve your goals or just to keep healthy and moving. I will take the guesswork and planning out of your hands. Video demonstrations can also be provided.
Sports Performance - Strength & Conditioning
Athletes come to me because they want to excel on the playing field. They want to be the fastest, strongest, etc. They want to WIN! These athlete- warriors want to bring their skills to the next level. I tell them in order to be successful it requires a lot of hard work and dedication outside of competition and practice. For these serious warriors I create training programs that will help them reach their greatest potential for their sport. Each sport/ discipline has many areas of focus and intensities that we can work to improve. Strength, speed, endurance, agility, mobility, plyometrics, flexibility, and balance can all be developed when committed to training. Not only will sports performance improve with the extra sweat equity put in but an incredible groundwork will be laid for a lifetime of movement and fitness within the athlete.

About Me: Leanne O'Connell
What seems like a lifetime of athletics (from youth track to college volleyball) and fitness has developed my passion for bringing it to others. I am a certified personal trainer and a sports performance specialist. My clients ages range from teens to elderly and certain populations dealing with special needs and health concerns. Not to play favorites but...I absolutely love working with teens - introducing them to strength training and conditioning at the same age when I first hit the gym floor myself.
In the coming months, I plan to expand my services to include a certification in nutrition. Have you heard the saying, "you can't out-train a bad diet"? It's true. I believe my clients will be able to achieve their best results when I can also provide them nutritional guidance. - Stay tuned
My husband, four children and I live, attend schools and are active in the Clarksburg, Maryland community.
